50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Towels for a corporate programme are quoted per job, ordered at 50 pieces per design and produced in 10 to 15 working days from artwork approval. Offices buy them for onboarding boxes, for end-of-year gifts and for the showers that come with a cycle-to-work policy. The finish you pick is decided by which of those three the towel is for.

Where does a towel fit in an office kit?

Onboarding boxes are the most common route. A new starter box that contains a tee, a bottle and a notebook is indistinguishable from every other company box. A well-made towel is the item that gets used at a gym or a pool rather than put in a drawer, which means the logo keeps appearing long after the first week.

The second route is facilities. Offices with showers need stock, and branded stock is easier to keep track of than an unmarked pile. The third is client gifting at the end of a year, where the standard is higher and the quantity smaller. Our wholesale towels page sets out the weights each of those calls for.

A gift towel and a facilities towel are usually two different weights.

What finish looks right as a company gift?

Spa and hotel weights are the gift end of the range. They are denser, they hold their shape in a box and they feel like a considered item rather than a giveaway. Gym weight is the right pick for shower stock, where drying speed matters more than the hand feel.

On branding, a woven mark reads as restrained and lasts the life of the towel, which suits corporate work where the logo is a single colour anyway. Print earns its place where the mark has gradients or several colours. Our post on branded towels as corporate gifts covers how this lands against the usual alternatives.

How do you order for new starters through the year?

The awkward part of onboarding stock is that hiring is spread across twelve months and the minimum is 50 pieces in one run. A company hiring six people a quarter does not want four orders a year, and could not place them anyway without meeting the minimum each time.

The answer is to buy a year of stock at once and store it. Towels take storage well, they do not carry a date, and they do not go out of fashion the way a printed tee can. Buying annually also lands you further up the tier table, where the discount reaches up to 35% as quantity rises from the 50-piece price. The wider programme thinking is on our corporate page.

What does an office towel run cost to repeat?

Pricing is per job because weight, size and branding method all move it. Tiers step at 50 to 99, 100 to 249, 250 to 499, 500 to 999 and 1,000 plus, and each order is priced on its own quantity rather than on the total you have bought historically. A single annual run therefore prices better than the same quantity split across the year.

Keep the approved artwork file and the specification from the first run. A repeat using the same files needs nothing redrawn, so the 10 to 15 working days is all production. A sample is £150, credited against a bulk order, and is worth taking once at the start of a programme rather than on every repeat.

Decide who owns the stock internally before it arrives. Onboarding kit tends to be assembled by whoever has a free afternoon, which means the person who placed the order is rarely the person handing it out, and boxes go missing between the two. Naming a single owner, whether that is HR, facilities or an office manager, keeps a running record of what has gone. It also turns the next order into a straightforward count rather than a search through three different cupboards and a stock guess.

FAQ

Quick Answers

Common questions about towels — answered.

It avoids the sizing problem entirely, which is the main reason offices switch. A towel fits everyone, so one specification covers the whole intake.

Yes, provided it is kept dry and boxed. Towels have no printed date and no seasonal styling, so stored stock stays usable far longer than printed apparel.

Plan for peak daily use plus a full set in the wash. Most offices find the laundry cycle, not the headcount, sets the number.

Only if the artwork differs. If the same logo works for staff and clients, one design covers both and the whole quantity counts towards one tier.
