50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Branded salon towels are quoted per job rather than sold from a fixed from-price, because the number depends on weight, size, colour and how the logo goes on. What is fixed is the shape of the deal: fifty pieces of one design to open an order, a per-piece figure that falls through five quantity bands, and up to 35% off the fifty-piece rate once you reach the largest band.

What drives the price of a salon towel?

Four things, roughly in order of weight. First, the towel itself: a light gym weight costs less than a spa weight, which costs less than a hotel weight, and the difference compounds across hundreds of pieces. Second, the size, since a hand towel and a bath sheet are not the same amount of cotton. Third, the branding, where a woven border is a different job from a printed logo. Fourth, quantity, which is the only one you fully control on the day.

Colour matters less than people expect on the per-piece figure, but it matters enormously on the life of the towel in a salon. Black and deep colours show bleach marks that a white towel simply absorbs into its existing whiteness. That is a cost too, just one that arrives six months later as replacements rather than on the first invoice.

Weight, size and branding method set the quote before quantity does.

How much does the quantity tier move the number?

The bands run 50–99, 100–249, 250–499, 500–999, and 1,000 and above. The price steps down at each threshold, measured from the fifty-piece rate, and the total movement across the whole ladder reaches up to 35%. That is not a discount you negotiate; it is how the quote is built, because setup and handling spread across more pieces as the run gets longer.

For a salon this usually means buying a year rather than a quarter. Towels do not go out of fashion and they do not expire, so the argument for holding stock is stronger here than for a printed t-shirt. Put your figures in against the wholesale towels page, and the salons and barbers page covers how towels usually get ordered alongside aprons and staff uniform in the same job.

Where does bleach fit into the cost conversation?

A salon towel meets peroxide, colour developer and tint on a daily basis, and no cotton towel is immune to that. The decision is whether you accept it or design around it. A white towel bleached repeatedly stays serviceable far longer than a navy one, because the damage does not read as damage. Many salons run white for the colour bar and a branded colour for reception and retail, which is two designs and therefore two lots of fifty.

Whichever way you go, the honest way to budget is per towel per year, not per towel. A cheaper towel replaced twice as often is not cheaper. There is more on how bleach and dye actually attack the fibre in our piece on wholesale towels for salons and spas, and the broader price picture sits in what wholesale towels cost.

What is not included in the per-piece figure?

Two things worth putting in your own spreadsheet. Delivery transit is separate from production and sits on top of the 10 to 15 working day build window. And the £150 sample, while credited back against the bulk order, is money that leaves your account before the main invoice does. Neither is large next to the order, but both have caught out buyers who planned to the penny.

We invoice in seven currencies and deliver across the UK, the USA and Europe, so the figure you are quoted is the figure in your own currency rather than a conversion you have to work out afterwards.

Every range is made to order from a 50-piece minimum in 10–15 working days, with tiered pricing up to 35% off at volume. Price your order or order samples first.

FAQ

Quick Answers

Common questions about towels — answered.

Because weight, size and branding method change the cost enough that a single headline figure would be misleading. Towels are quoted per job against the specification you approve.

Roughly, on the cotton, but not on the branding or the handling. A hand towel and a bath towel carry a similar setup cost, so the gap narrows on the finished piece.

Sizes can be mixed freely inside the fifty as long as the design is the same. Change the artwork and you have started a second order with its own fifty-piece floor.

It is built into the quantity bands rather than negotiated. The per-piece rate steps down as you cross each threshold, up to a maximum of 35% off the fifty-piece rate.
