Personalised Beach Towels for Holiday Lets, Hotels and Clubs

Personalised beach towels get about nineteen hundred UK searches a month. Many of those shoppers want a single towel with a child's name printed on it. We don't do that, and a gift personaliser is the right place for it. But if you run holiday lets in Cornwall, a hotel with a pool, a spa or a beach club, a branded beach towel is a genuinely useful thing to get right.
Printed beach towels vs embroidered cotton
Most novelty beach towels are printed on velour or microfibre. The print looks bright at first but can fade, and the fabric is less absorbent. For businesses, an embroidered cotton bath sheet lasts far longer, survives commercial laundering and feels better to lie on. Our largest towel, the bath sheet, is 90 × 180 cm at 650 GSM, which is a proper beach towel size.

Colour: stripes, solids or white?
Keep pool and beach towels visually different from bathroom towels so guests don't take bath towels to the beach. A different colour does that instantly. Navy, sea blue and sand look coastal. Stripes are classic but are usually a special woven production; ask if you need them. White looks luxurious at spas but shows sand and suncream.
Branding
A small embroidered logo near the hem or on the border looks classy. For holiday lets, your property name is a nice touch that guests photograph on the beach and share. Keep it modest. The goal is a towel that looks like part of a lovely stay, not an advert.
Stopping towels walking off
Branded towels are less likely to disappear, and a clearly branded, distinctive colour makes them easy to spot in guests' bags. Many holiday lets mention in their welcome guide that beach towels are provided for use during the stay. Some add a small charge for missing towels, which should be stated clearly in your booking terms.
How many to buy
Plan at least two beach towels per guest bed, plus a full spare set for laundry turnover. A four-bedroom cottage sleeping eight needs around 16 in use and 16 in the wash. Our minimum is 50 per design, which suits a small portfolio of properties or a hotel.
Laundering sandy towels
Shake sand out outdoors before washing. Sand in washing machines damages drums and leaves towels gritty. Wash suncream-stained towels promptly, as some sunscreens can leave yellow marks on cotton.

Surf schools and watersports centres
Surf schools, paddleboard hire and watersports centres use towels constantly, often in cold coastal conditions. Branded bath sheets for lesson clients feel generous after a chilly session, and a distinct colour keeps them separate from staff kit. Sell a retail version to students as a souvenir of their first lesson.
Lidos and outdoor pools
Lidos with cafés and changing facilities can sell branded towels to regular swimmers, who often become loyal fans of their local pool. A towel with the lido's name is a popular gift and a quiet fundraiser for community-run pools.
