Custom baseball jerseys are button-front team shirts made in your colours with your logo, team name, player names and numbers. What makes a baseball jersey different from a team T-shirt?
The front. A baseball jersey opens down the middle with a button placket, usually edged in piping that runs round the collar, and it hangs straight rather than clinging. That shape is why the style works for players, coaches, fans and fashion alike: it looks like baseball from across a field, even before a logo goes on. What fabric are custom baseball jerseys made from?
Polyester mesh. The open knit lets air through, which matters on a warm afternoon, and polyester holds its colour and shape through the repeated washing a team kit gets. The shorts use the same mesh with an elastic waist, so the set matches in colour and texture. How do you put a logo, names and numbers on a baseball jersey?
There are four methods, and one kit often uses two of them: one for the crest and another for the names and numbers. The right choice depends on the detail in your artwork, the colours involved and how the kit will be worn.
- Embroidery: stitched, raised and hard-wearing, ideal for a chest crest or a small sleeve logo; see our embroidery service.
- Screen printing: bold, solid colours at a sharp edge, well suited to large back numbers in one or two colours; see screen printing.
- DTF printing: full-colour transfers for detailed logos and sponsor marks, and a practical way to vary names and numbers piece by piece; see DTF printing.
- Sublimation: the design dyed into light polyester, so it cannot crack or peel and can run edge to edge; see sublimation printing.

What is the minimum order for custom baseball jerseys?
Fifty pieces per design. Sizes, names and numbers can all change inside those 50, so a squad, its coaches and a run of fan jerseys in the same design count as one order. How much do custom baseball jerseys cost?
They are quoted per order rather than listed at one price, because the figure moves with the style, whether shorts are included, the number of decoration positions and the method used for each. A piped solid jersey with a chest crest is a simpler build than a pinstripe with a crest, names, numbers and a sleeve logo. Send the style, the quantity, your colours and your logo, and the quote comes back with the landed cost for your delivery country.
Should you order a sample first?
For a kit that has to be ready for a season start, yes. Colour on a screen never quite matches colour on mesh, and a sample settles the shade, the fit and the size of the numbers in one go. One or two samples cost £150 including worldwide shipping, and the £150 is credited against the bulk order. Then allow 10–15 working days for production, plus freight, before the first game.
