50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

A branded denim jacket costs $38 a piece from fifty, and for an office it is a different proposition from a softshell. Denim is a garment people choose to wear rather than one they are issued, so it works as onboarding kit, as a gift and as something worn to an offsite. It does not work as formal uniform, and trying to make it one wastes the reason you picked it.

Does a denim jacket fit a company dress code?

In a business-casual office, easily. In a suit-and-tie environment, no, and a jacket nobody can wear to work is just an expensive box in a store cupboard. The honest test is whether people at your company already wear denim in the building. If they do, a branded version is the most-worn garment you will ever hand out. If they do not, a softshell or a quarter-zip is the better purchase. Our denim jackets page shows the builds, and the corporate and offices page covers how staff kit is usually structured.

How do you budget fifty jackets against an onboarding plan?

Take expected joiners for the next twelve months, add the existing team if this is a first rollout, and round up to a tier boundary rather than to your headcount. The bands step at 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000, and the piece price falls by as much as 35% against the fifty-piece rate at the top of that scale. One order of a hundred held in stock beats two orders of fifty placed six months apart on both price and colour consistency. There is also less admin, which matters more than the spreadsheet suggests when the person managing it has another job.

Treat it as a programme rather than a purchase, with a named owner, an issue log and a fixed annual reorder date. That structure is what building a corporate apparel programme argues for, and denim is a good candidate for it because the style does not date.

What finish suits an office rather than a site?

A mid or dark washed denim in a clean, unfaded finish. Heavy distressing looks like a fashion garment and dates quickly. Rigid indigo is a risk indoors because it transfers colour onto light chairs and shirt cuffs before it has been washed a few times. A washed mid-blue or black with a small tonal embroidered logo is the specification that survives changes in taste and looks right in a photograph three years later.

Is denim a sensible gift for clients or partners?

It is one of the better options, because the garment has value independent of your logo. Keep the branding small, use your own woven neck label and a swing tag so it presents as a product rather than as promotional stock, and bag each piece individually. The wider argument about which branded items actually get used rather than discarded is made in our corporate gifting guide. Allow 10 to 15 working days of production from artwork approval, plus transit, and take a £150 sample first if the jackets are going to people outside the company.

Handover matters more than people expect. A jacket given out in a bag with a note reads as a gift; the same jacket pulled from a cardboard box in a store cupboard reads as leftover stock. If it is part of a first-day kit, have it ready in the right size before the person arrives rather than taking their measurements in week two. The garment is identical in both cases and the impression it leaves is not remotely the same.

Quick Answers

Common questions about denim — answered.

Invoicing is available in seven currencies, which helps a business with offices in more than one country settle in the currency its accounts are kept in rather than converting afterwards.

Tonal reads as premium and is the safer choice for a gift. Contrasting reads as company kit and makes more sense when the jacket is worn at events where people need to identify your team quickly.

You need fifty pieces in the run, but the split across sizes is entirely yours. Ordering the full curve in one go also means every jacket comes from the same fabric batch.

Yes. Individual bagging, swing tags and your own packaging can all be handled during production, which makes a first-day handover straightforward rather than something an office manager assembles by hand.
