50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Hotel and spa uniforms start at $20 per piece at our 50-piece minimum, falling by as much as 35% at the top of the quantity range. For a hotel the interesting question is rarely the unit price on one garment — it is how many departments you are kitting in one go, because each design carries its own 50 and each order is priced on its own quantity.

What does a hotel pay per piece at the minimum?

The published starting figure is $20 a piece for corporate uniforms at 50 pieces of one design, with sizes mixed however you need inside that 50. From there the tiers step at 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 pieces. Decoration has a small effect at these volumes; garment choice has more. A structured jacket for a concierge and a polo for a leisure attendant are different specifications and will not price alike, and the wholesale uniforms page is where the current from-price and tiers live.

Fabric weights are confirmed on the quote for your job rather than published as a single figure, because a shirt, an apron and an outer layer have nothing useful in common on that measure. Tell us the laundry regime the garments will face and the specification is built around it.

How does a multi-department programme change the maths?

Most of the budgeting error in hotel orders comes from counting people instead of counting designs. Front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, spa and maintenance frequently want different colourways, and every colourway is a separate design with its own 50-piece minimum and its own tier position. Five departments at 50 pieces each is five orders in the first tier, not one order of 250 in the third.

There are two ways out of that. One is to share a garment across departments and differentiate by something other than colour — a different embroidered role title, or an apron worn over the same base. The other is to accept the split but place all five runs together, so the freight and the administration are a single job and the colour is set at the same moment across the property. Either way, decide it before artwork approval, since production is 10 to 15 working days from that point before transit.

Where do towels sit in the budget?

Towels are quoted per job rather than carrying a published from-price, because size, weight and finish move the figure too much for a single starting number to mean anything. For a hotel or spa they usually belong on the same quote as the garments, since the rotation logic is identical: you are buying enough to keep a clean one available while the rest are in the wash, not enough to cover the headcount once. The wholesale towels page covers the options, and the hotel apparel guide walks through how the garment side is usually assembled.

A last note on currency: from-prices are published in USD per piece, and invoicing is available in seven currencies, so a UK or European property can be billed in its own. The £150 sample fee is quoted in sterling and is credited against the bulk order.

Ask for the quote to be broken down by department rather than as a single total. A property-wide figure is impossible to argue with and impossible to adjust; a line per department shows immediately where the money is going and which colourway is carrying the least weight for the most cost. It also makes the following year easier, because each department can be repriced on its own as headcount changes rather than reopening the whole programme from scratch.

Common questions about workwear — answered.

Only if it is one design. The tiers are calculated on the quantity of a single design, so a 500-piece programme split across five colourways is priced as five runs of 100 rather than one of 500.

Towels are quoted per job rather than published with a from-price, because size, weight and finish change the figure substantially. Ask for them on the same quote as the garments so the whole property is costed together.

Yes, and it is the most efficient way to run a property. Keep the base garment and colourway identical and distinguish the departments with an embroidered role title or a different apron worn over the top.

The garment and its decoration. Delivery transit sits on top of the 10 to 15 working day production window, and private label extras such as woven neck labels or swing tags are quoted alongside when you want them.
