Custom water bottles are made in a factory, not at a kitchen table: a double-walled stainless steel body is vacuum insulated, powder coated, then printed with your logo to a matte finish flush with the coat, checked and packed. To get them made, you send a logo, approve a proof, and a run of 50 or more per design takes 10 to 15 working days.
How does an insulated bottle keep drinks cold?
An insulated bottle is two steel bottles, one inside the other, with the air pumped out of the gap between them. Heat moves by conduction (through material), convection (through moving air or liquid) and radiation. A vacuum gives it almost nothing to conduct or convect through, so heat crosses the gap very slowly. That is how the bottle keeps drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12.
What are the main stages of making a bottle?

- 5Assembly: the cap (carry-handle, flip-straw or steel) and the anti-slip base are fitted.
- 6Checking and packing: bottles are checked against the approved proof and packed, loose, in branded gift boxes or in retail-ready cartons.

How are logos printed on bottles?
The logo is printed, not engraved, onto the finished outer surface, and it sits as a matte finish level with the powder coat around it. With no raised edge, a thumb or a bag strap has nothing to catch, which is why the print survives daily handling and washing. The artwork is proofed first, so you see the logo, its size and its position before anything is printed. Design ideas that print well covers what reads best on a curved surface.
How do personalised water bottles work on a bulk order?
One design is printed across the whole run. Personalised, in bulk terms, means your logo, name or message on every bottle, and you can mix bottle colours within the order. What does not work at scale is changing the artwork bottle by bottle, because each separate logo or artwork counts as its own design with its own 50 pieces.
Can you make custom insulated bottles yourself?
Not in any real sense. Vacuum insulation and a print that sits flush with a baked coat need factory equipment. A vinyl sticker on a shop-bought bottle is the home alternative for three or four bottles. Past a handful, ordering is simpler.
