How do steel, plastic and glass compare?

We make insulated steel because it is the one material that does the job a branded bottle is bought for: being used every day, in front of other people, for long enough that the logo is seen. Why does insulation matter for a branded bottle?
Because insulation is what gets a bottle used. A double-walled steel bottle has two steel skins with the air removed from the gap between them, so heat has almost nothing to travel through. Cold water stays cold for 24 hours and a hot drink stays hot for 12. That is the reason someone refills it instead of buying a drink, and every refill is another few minutes of your logo in their hand.

Is a steel bottle heavier, and does that matter?
Yes, a double-walled steel bottle weighs more than a plastic one of the same size, and for most uses it makes no difference. It matters for giveaways people must carry all day, such as a festival or a long trade show, where a lighter item is kinder. Even there, the steel bottle is the one more likely to go home with them.
What does BPA free mean on a custom bottle?
BPA stands for bisphenol A, a chemical used in making some hard plastics, and BPA free means the product is made without it. Every bottle and tumbler we make is BPA free. That is the only material safety claim the range carries, and it is worth being careful with anything beyond it.
