50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Offices buy branded hoodies at a 50-piece minimum per design, from $31 a piece, produced in 10 to 15 working days after artwork approval. The 50 rarely maps to 50 employees. It maps to the team you have now plus the joiners you expect over the next year, which is why the sizing decision matters more than the design one.

Why do offices buy hoodies rather than shirts?

Because people wear them. A branded polo goes in a drawer at most modern companies; a hoodie gets worn to the coffee shop, on the commute and at home on a video call. That is the entire argument, and it is a good one. The dress code question answers itself: a well-cut hoodie in a company colour with a small embroidered chest mark passes anywhere that allows smart casual, while a loud back print does not. If the intent is onboarding kit that people actually use, keep the branding restrained and spend the budget on the fabric instead. Where you want a more formal layer alongside it, the corporate page sets out the rest of the range.

How do you size a team you have not met?

For the people already there, ask. A single form with a size chart attached takes ten minutes to set up and removes most of the guesswork. For the joiner stock, do not guess individually: hold the buffer in the middle sizes and accept that the occasional new starter will need a swap from the next run. Because sizes mix freely inside the 50, a common split is around two thirds allocated by name and one third held as a spread. Unisex fits cover most teams, and the people that suits least are usually at the two ends of the range, so keep a couple of the smallest and largest sizes in the buffer as well.

How do you keep the onboarding cupboard stocked?

Order on a cycle rather than on demand. A company hiring steadily should place one annual order sized for the headcount plus the forecast, because each new run needs 50 pieces and 10 to 15 working days of its own. Running out in March and re-ordering means paying the entry-tier price twice in a year instead of once at a better rate. Set a reorder trigger, something like ten pieces left, and place the next order at that point rather than at zero. Keep a note of the artwork file and the exact colour reference with the stock so the second run matches the first.

Who owns the cupboard is worth settling as well. Hoodies with no named owner drift into desk drawers and never reach the people they were bought for, and the team that ordered them ends up buying again within the year. One person logging what goes out, even in a spreadsheet, is enough. It also gives you the hiring-rate evidence you need to size the following order properly.

What does the office order cost?

The from-price is on the wholesale hoodies page, and it falls as quantity rises through the 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 piece tiers, up to 35% below the 50-piece rate. For an office order the more useful number is the landed cost per employee, which includes the hoodie, the decoration and the shipping to one address rather than to homes. Shipping individually to remote staff costs more than most budgets assume. If you want the per-piece arithmetic broken out in full, the real cost breakdown of custom hoodies does it line by line.

FAQ

Quick Answers

Common questions about custom hoodies — answered.

Each colourway is a separate run of 50, so offering a choice of two means buying 100 in total. Most offices pick one colour and spend the difference on a heavier fabric.

Bulk orders ship to one address as standard. Splitting a run across dozens of home addresses is possible but it changes the shipping cost considerably, so budget for it up front.

Take a sample at £150, which is credited against the bulk order. A physical sample is the only reliable way to check a brand colour reproduced in thread or ink.

Base it on last year's hiring rather than on a percentage. A team that added eight people last year should hold at least eight hoodies, weighted to the middle sizes.
