50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Wholesale hoodies start at $31 a piece at our 50-piece minimum, and the price falls as the quantity rises, by up to 35% against that entry rate in the largest tier. The tiers step at 50 to 99, 100 to 249, 250 to 499, 500 to 999 and 1,000 plus. Production runs 10 to 15 working days from artwork approval.

What moves the price up from the entry rate?

Three things, in order of weight. Fabric: our brushed-back fleece runs 280 to 450 GSM, and a heavier knit costs more because there is more of it. Decoration: embroidery is priced on stitch count, screen printing on the number of colours and positions, and both are cheaper per piece as the run grows because the setup is spread wider. Private label extras: custom woven neck labels, tear-out labels, swing tags and packaging each add to the piece price. What does not move the price much is how clever the design is. A complicated single-colour graphic costs the same to screen print as a simple one.

Fabric weight is the largest single input into the piece price.

How do the quantity tiers actually work?

The discount is measured against the 50-piece price and it applies to the whole order once you cross into a band. It is worth checking whether you are just below a step before you confirm: an order of 95 pieces and an order of 100 are not far apart in cash, and the second one is priced in a better band. The same logic applies further up the scale. Where buyers lose money is by splitting a year into four orders of 50 rather than placing one of 200, because each run is priced on its own quantity and setup is repeated each time. The live tier detail is on the pricing page.

What costs sit outside the per-piece price?

A few, and they are the ones that surprise people. Delivery, which varies by destination across the UK, USA and Europe and changes considerably if a run is split across multiple addresses. Any duties or taxes applicable in your market. And the sample, at £150, which is credited against the bulk order when you place it, so on a confirmed order it is not an additional cost at all. Budget for the delivery line explicitly rather than assuming it is folded into the quote.

There is also a cost that never appears on an invoice: the pieces you do not use. A run of 50 where fifteen sit in a cupboard for two years has a real cost per worn hoodie far above the quoted rate. Counting the order against the number of people who will genuinely wear it, rather than against the number of pieces made, is the single correction that changes most budgets.

How do you get a number you can actually plan against?

Give a quantity, a fabric weight, a decoration method and the number of print positions, and the quote comes back firm rather than indicative. A request for a hoodie price with no quantity attached can only be answered with the from-price. The garment detail and the current from-prices are on the wholesale hoodies page. If you want the cost broken into its component parts before you brief anyone, the real cost breakdown of custom hoodies sets it out, and the 2026 price breakdown covers the retail comparison.

FAQ

Quick Answers

Common questions about custom hoodies — answered.

Yes. Each position is a separate setup and a separate pass through production, so a chest and back print costs more per piece than a chest print alone.

It depends on the artwork. Embroidery is priced on stitch count, so a small chest logo is inexpensive while a large detailed one can cost more than a screen print.

Pricing is quoted against a quantity at the time of order. A repeat run is quoted on its own quantity, which is why larger single orders beat several smaller ones.

We invoice in seven currencies across the UK, USA and Europe. Confirm which one you need at quoting stage so the figures you plan against are the ones on the invoice.
