Does denim hold up in a gym environment?
Denim is one of the most durable fabrics you can put a logo on, which is why it outlives most branded kit a gym hands out. The choice that matters is washed against rigid. Washed denim arrives soft, with the fading already in it, and looks the same in two years as it does on day one. Rigid denim starts stiff and dark and breaks in on the wearer, developing its own wear lines, which suits a jacket meant to feel personal. Neither is fragile. Both take embroidery without the puckering that catches people out on technical fabrics.
The practical warning is colour transfer. Rigid indigo will mark light-coloured bags and seats for the first few washes, so if the jacket is going to staff who lean against a white reception desk all day, washed denim is the easier choice.

The fifty-piece minimum is per design, so a staff version with a role title on the chest and a member version with just the logo are two orders of fifty. If both groups can live with identical jackets, one run of a hundred covers them and lands in a better price tier at the same time. What decoration suits a denim jacket?
Embroidery and patches, in that order. A stitched chest mark and a large embroidered or appliquéd back panel is the classic build and it suits denim better than any print does, because the fabric has enough body to carry the weight of the stitching. Patches are the flexible option: they can be produced separately and applied, which allows a bolder graphic than direct embroidery would manage neatly. Think about where the jackets are stored and issued, because a gym reception is not a stockroom. Fifty pieces take up real shelf space, and outerwear left in a box behind a desk gets creased and forgotten. If members are buying, put a couple of sizes on a rail where people can see them and keep the rest bagged. A garment nobody can see does not sell, and one with a fold line across the back graphic sells for less than it should.
