50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Tour joggers want ordering roughly two months before the first date. Production runs 10 to 15 working days from approved artwork, transit follows, and merch that lands mid-tour is merch you sell at half the dates. Build in a week either side: one for the artwork round trip at the front, one at the back for counting, sorting and getting the boxes to wherever the run starts.

How far ahead does merch need to be ordered?

Two months is the working number and it is not conservative. The artwork on a tour item tends to arrive last, because the design depends on a record or a run of dates that is still being confirmed. Get the garment, the fabric and the quantity agreed early and leave only the graphic outstanding, so that when the design lands the only thing left is approval. Everything else should already be signed.

How many pairs do you carry on the road?

Joggers are a high-ticket merch item, so the quantity is smaller than the tee run and the size curve is narrower. Fifty per design is the floor, sizes split however you like inside it. Most people order one design across the whole run rather than date-specific versions, because each extra design restarts the fifty and the tiers reward a single deeper buy: up to 35% comes off the fifty-piece price as you climb from 50-99 through to 1,000-plus. The from-price is $22 a piece on our wholesale joggers page.

What spec holds up in a van?

Loopback creases less and recovers faster than brushed fleece after weeks in a crate, which matters when the stock is folded, hauled and put back a dozen times. Cuffed hems stack more tidily than open ones. Keep the print big and simple: a large back print sells from ten feet away in a dark room, where a small chest mark is invisible. How the boxes arrive and what to ask for is covered in how bulk joggers are packed.

Does tour merch need its own labelling?

If you want it to look like a product rather than a printed blank, yes. Custom woven labels, tear-out labels, swing tags and packaging are all available, and on a tour item the swing tag is what lets you hold a higher price at the table. They need deciding at the quote stage because they are made alongside the garment, not added afterwards. The options are laid out in neck labels on wholesale joggers.

Where does a sample earn its £150?

On the print size and the fabric hand, both of which are impossible to judge from a mock-up. The £150 is credited against the bulk order, so on a run you were placing anyway it costs time rather than money. Order it the week you agree the garment, and use it to check how the back print sits on the largest size as well as the smallest. Our samples page explains how the credit is applied.

Keep a count per date once the run starts. Merch sold at a table disappears quickly and nobody remembers afterwards which size ran out first, which is exactly the information you need for the next tour. A tally per night takes a minute and tells you whether the size curve was right, whether the joggers were priced correctly against the tee, and whether a second design would have sold. That record is worth more than any guess when you place the next order.

FAQ

Quick Answers

Common questions about wholesale — answered.

You can, but every design needs its own fifty pieces and its own proof cycle. Most acts run one design for the whole tour and vary only the colourway, which still counts separately but shares the artwork work.

Production cannot be paused once artwork is approved, so avoid printing dates on the garment itself. A design without dates stays sellable on the next run and at the merch store afterwards.

Allow the same 10 to 15 working days from approval plus transit. On a short tour that is most of the run, which is why the first order should cover the whole schedule rather than the first few dates.

Individual bagging and size-run cartons can both be specified at the quote stage, which makes counting and restocking at the table much faster. Ask for it before production rather than after. Once the cartons are taped, changing the packing means opening every one of them, and a venue loading bay is a bad place to discover that.
