50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Bulk joggers arrive folded, usually bagged individually in polythene, packed into cartons and either shrink-wrapped onto a pallet or shipped as loose boxes depending on the quantity. Each carton carries a packing list on the outside. How the sizes are divided between those cartons is a decision you make at the quote stage, and it is the difference between an hour of goods-in and an afternoon of it.

What actually arrives when the delivery lands?

Sealed cartons, taped and labelled, on a pallet if the order is large enough to warrant one. Inside, the joggers are folded and bagged. The outer label should tell you the design, the sizes inside, the quantity and the carton number out of the total, so you can count the shipment in without opening anything. If that information is missing, every box has to be opened to find out what is in it.

What is a size run and why does it matter?

A size-run carton contains a set ratio of sizes, so opening one box gives you a usable spread. A solid carton contains one size only. Size runs are better if you are shipping to an event or a shop and need a working assortment immediately. Solid cartons are better if you are picking online orders from a warehouse, because you do not want to hunt through a mixed box for a medium. Say which you want before production; it cannot be changed once the goods are packed.

Should every pair be bagged individually?

For retail or ecommerce, yes: it keeps garments clean through handling, makes picking faster and lets you ship a single order without repacking. Polythene bags can be supplied as part of the job. For team kit that is being handed straight out, bulk bagging by size is faster to unpack and produces less waste at your end. Decide based on what happens to the goods in the first hour after arrival.

What should be printed on the outside of the carton?

Design name, colour, sizes and quantities, carton number, and your reference or purchase order number. Ask for your own reference specifically, because it is the thing that lets a warehouse match the delivery to the paperwork without phoning anyone. If you are private labelling, packaging and swing tags are quoted in the same conversation, so settle the outer carton markings and the retail presentation together rather than in two separate rounds weeks apart.

How do you check a pallet without opening everything?

Count the cartons against the packing list, check the seals are intact, weigh or heft a couple against each other, and then open a sample properly. A full inspection routine is set out in checking a delivery properly before you accept it, and what counts as a fault is covered in quality checks on bulk joggers. Packing is quoted alongside the garments, which start from $22 a piece at the fifty-piece minimum on our wholesale joggers page, and the packing terms themselves are defined in our glossary.

Work out where the cartons are going before they arrive. A few hundred joggers take up more room than most people picture, and a pallet that cannot get through a doorway has to be broken down in the street. Ask for the carton count and dimensions with the quote, measure the space you intend to use, and keep the boxes off a concrete floor. Cardboard wicks damp upwards, and a carton that has stood in a cold garage for a fortnight can mark the garments at the bottom of it.

Quick Answers

Common questions about wholesale — answered.

Yes, but it has to be specified before production because it determines how the goods are packed on the line. Repacking after the fact means opening every box, which nobody wants to do at either end.

Individual polythene bagging is available and is normal for retail stock. If you are handing garments straight to a team, bulk bagging by size is quicker to unpack, so tell the supplier which situation applies.

It depends on the fabric weight and the carton size, which is why the packing list matters more than a guess. Ask for carton count and dimensions on the quote if you need to plan storage or a courier collection.

Split delivery is usually possible across the UK, USA and Europe, but it needs to be agreed before packing so the cartons are built for the right destinations rather than sorted after they are sealed. Split shipments also need a packing list per destination, so ask for that rather than one sheet covering everything.
