The merch bundle ideas that work best pair a cap with a tee or hoodie under one logo system, priced as a set. Each item is its own order of at least 50 per design, so 50 bundles means 50 caps and 50 tees. Velocity Wear makes both in 10 to 15 working days from artwork approval, with caps from $12 each, and can ship garments folded and bagged.

Which merch bundle ideas pair well with a cap?

Pick the bundle for the moment it is sold at. The cap is the easy anchor: one size, adjustable, at home beside almost any garment and never sold out in the wrong fit. Every style is in the wholesale caps range.

How do you keep one logo system across a cap and a tee?

Design the logo family once, then set each item's version. A tee front takes a large print, while a cap front is a small curved panel that usually wants a simplified mark or monogram in embroidery. Both should come from the same master artwork and palette, so the set looks planned rather than assembled. Shrinking a logo down to cap size covers what to simplify.

Colour needs the same care. Ink and thread are matched separately, so a brand red printed on a tee and the same red stitched on a cap can land slightly apart. Put every item on one enquiry and approve the proofs side by side; how thread colours are matched on caps explains the thread side.

  • Two or three colours across the whole set, repeated on every item.
  • One hero item: the tee graphic or the cap carries the statement, not both.

What is the minimum order for a cap and tee bundle?

Fifty of each item, per design. The cap and the tee are separate products with separate minimums, so a 50-bundle run needs at least 50 caps and 50 tees, and a hoodie adds another 50. Tee and hoodie sizes mix freely inside their 50, and caps need no sizes at all. A second cap colourway or tee graphic is another design with another 50.

Caps start at $12 a piece at 50 and fall across the tiers 50–99, 100–249, 250–499, 500–999 and 1,000+, up to 35% off the 50-piece price. The garments are priced on their own ranges, custom t-shirts in bulk and wholesale hoodies, and one quote covering every item shows what a complete set costs.

How should a merch pack be bagged?

Bag each item, then decide how the set travels. Garments ordered with a clothing run can be folded, bagged and labelled at the factory, each in a resealable custom printed polythene bag with your logo on the face and a size sticker for picking. Caps can be bagged individually too; ask for it in the enquiry so it is priced in.

Size stickers matter most for bundles, because whoever packs a medium bundle needs to find a medium tee without opening anything. If a cap and tee should share one bag, say so: bags are sized to what goes inside, and the quote confirms the dimensions before anything is made.

What makes a band merch bundle work on tour?

Speed at the merch table. A bundle turns two buying decisions into one, which helps when the queue builds before doors. Keep to one or two bundles, weight the tee sizes towards your fastest sellers, and let the one-size cap cover everyone else. The bands and music page covers the rest of a tour order.

Each item takes 10 to 15 working days from its own artwork approval, with freight on top, so approve every proof in the pack together and count back from the first show, not from the tour announcement.

Putting a bundle enquiry together

List every item in the pack with its quantity per design, the tee and hoodie size split, the cap style and colour, the logo files, how each item should be bagged, the delivery country and the date the stock has to land. One message through the form on this page covers it, and pricing usually arrives within hours on a working day. Cap styles are on the custom caps page, and the personalised caps guide covers delivery and invoicing.

Quick Answers

Common questions about caps — answered.

A cap and t-shirt bundle can go on one enquiry, with a single quote covering both items, the artwork proofs and the packing. Each item is still produced as its own order with a minimum of 50 pieces per design, so a pack of 50 bundles needs 50 caps and 50 tees, made in 10 to 15 working days from approval.

The caps and tees in a merch pack work best with one logo system rather than an identical logo: the full mark or a large graphic on the tee and a simplified version or monogram on the cap. Both come from the same master artwork and colour palette, so the pack looks planned, and the proofs are approved side by side.

Merch bundle items can arrive folded, bagged and size-labelled when they are ordered together with custom polythene bags. Each garment goes into a resealable bag with your logo printed on the face and a size sticker, so a packer can build a bundle without opening anything. Bag dimensions are confirmed for each style in the quote.

Printed and embroidered colours in a merch bundle are matched separately, because ink and thread are different materials, so the same brand red can look slightly different on a tee print and a stitched cap logo. Approving both proofs together, or ordering a £150 sample credited against the bulk order, lets you compare them side by side.
