A bottle opener keychain with your logo is a steel keychain that opens bottles, so it is used as well as carried. Velocity Wear makes them to order from 50 pieces per design, with the logo laser engraved into the metal, in 10 to 15 working days from artwork approval. They suit bars, breweries, festivals, sports clubs and drinks brands, wherever bottles get opened.
Why does a keychain that gets used beat one that is only carried?
A plain keychain is seen when the keys come out. A bottle opener is seen then and again every time someone opens a drink, usually in company, often passed across a table. That is more moments in front of more people, in exactly the social setting a bar or brewery wants its name in. It also answers the question every giveaway faces, which is why anyone should keep it: because it is useful.
It is the multi-function option in our range of custom keychains, alongside metal, leather, acrylic, rubber PVC and wood tags.
Who orders branded bottle opener keychains?
| Buyer | How they are handed out | Design tip |
|---|---|---|
| Bars and pubs | Sold at the bar or given to regulars | Venue name large, nothing else |
| Craft breweries | Taproom shop, beer festivals, trade visits | The brewery mark or a flagship beer's logo |
| Festivals and beer events | In the wristband pack or on the merch stand | An undated festival name so leftovers carry to next year |
| Sports clubs | Clubhouse bar, end-of-season awards, members' packs | The club crest simplified for engraving |
| Drinks brands | Boxed trade gifts for bars and stockists | The brand mark only, with gift boxes |
| Restaurants and hotels | With the bill, or in guest welcome packs | A monogram or icon that suits the room |
Hospitality venues often order these alongside staff kit, which the restaurants and hospitality page covers, and clubs will find more on the sports clubs page.

What artwork fits on a bottle opener keychain?
The flat face above the opening is the canvas, and it is narrow. A venue or brewery name, a short wordmark or a single icon works; an address, a strapline and a web link together do not. Engraving on steel is one tone, so a colour-dependent logo needs a version that works on shape alone. Keep the logo clear of the opening itself and check the proof at actual size. Keychain logo ideas has more on simplifying a mark.
Can a bottle opener keychain work as a gift?
Yes. Boxed, a steel opener is a proper trade gift from a drinks brand to the bars that stock it, or a retail item in a brewery shop. Gift boxes are available for corporate and retail orders; say in the enquiry how many of the run need one. For premium client gifts where drinking is not the theme, a metal or leather keychain is the more neutral choice.
When should a bar or brewery order for a launch or festival?
Work back from the day the openers need to be behind the bar or on the stand: freight, then 10 to 15 working days of production from artwork approval, then the time it takes to agree the proof. For a summer festival, send the enquiry in spring; for a Christmas trade gift, aim for October. Promotional keychains for events covers quantities, and one or two samples cost £150, credited against the bulk order.
What to send for bottle opener keychains
Your logo, the quantity per design (minimum 50), whether any need gift boxes, the delivery address or country, and the date. Openers are quoted per order rather than from a list, and the reply with pricing usually arrives within hours on a working day. Send those through the enquiry form here, or see the opener alongside our other keychains. The custom keychains buyer's guide covers everything else.
