A strong branded gift set pairs an insulated steel bottle with a keychain and a cap or towel, all carrying one logo, packed in a branded gift box. Each product is made to order from 50 pieces per design, so a set of three means 50 of each. Production takes 10 to 15 working days from artwork approval, and one enquiry can cover the whole set.
Why build a gift set around a bottle?
Because it is the item that gets used most. A bottle goes everywhere its owner does, so it anchors the set, and the smaller pieces fill specific moments: a keychain on the office keys, a cap for summer events, a towel for the gym. Together they put one brand into several parts of someone's day. Velocity Wear makes all four, so one logo file and one enquiry cover the set. The bottle options are on our custom bottles page.
Which items make a good gift set?
| Set | Items | Who it suits | Packaging |
|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome pack | Bottle, keychain and cap | New starters and onboarding | Branded gift box |
| Client thank-you | Steel-cap bottle and keychain | Clients and partners | Branded gift box |
| Gym or club pack | Flip-straw bottle and towel | Members and teams | None, or a box for joining gifts |
| Event crew pack | Carry-handle bottle and cap | Staff and volunteers | Loose in a crew bag |
| Retail bundle | Bottle and cap | Shops and online stores | Retail-ready carton |
Keep the set to three or four items. A box holding a bottle, a keychain and a cap looks chosen; a box holding seven items looks like an exhibition bag. Pick the pieces by what the recipient will do with them in the first week, and leave out anything included only to fill space.

How do minimums work across a gift set?
Each product has its own minimum of 50 pieces per design. A set of bottle, keychain and cap is therefore 50 bottles, 50 keychains and 50 caps, which conveniently makes 50 sets. The design rules also apply product by product: on bottles, mixing colours is fine while each new artwork is its own design; on keychains, each separate design or material counts as its own design. So a set offering two keychain materials is two keychain designs.
How do you keep one brand story across the set?
Use one logo file, one logo colour and consistent placement on every item. Match finishes where you can: a navy bottle, a navy cap and a keychain in the same colour family read as a set. Keep extra wording on the box rather than the products. Keychain gift boxes and packaging covers presenting the smaller piece, and cap and tee bundles covers how headwear fits into a merch pack.
Packing and timing a gift set
The branded gift box is what turns three products into one present. Custom packaging runs from a branded gift box to retail-ready cartons, quoted with the bottles; list every item the box should hold when you enquire, and the quote will confirm the packaging options for the set. Each product runs 10 to 15 working days from its own artwork approval, so approving every proof in the same week keeps all the pieces on one schedule.
For onboarding, order a year of sets at once rather than a box per new starter, then hand one out on each start date. Keychains in employee welcome kits and bottles as corporate gifts both go further into welcome packs, including what to leave out.
Sending a gift set enquiry
List each item and quantity, attach the logo, pick the finishes and colours, say whether you want a branded gift box, and give the delivery country and the date the sets are needed, all through the enquiry form on this page. A quote with pricing follows, normally within hours on a working day. The products are on custom bottles, custom keychains and custom caps, and the bottle buyer's guide covers the bottle side in full.
