50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Society tracksuits start from $53 per set at the 50-set minimum, with decoration on top. For a committee the figure that matters is per member, and that depends entirely on how many people commit. Fifty sign-ups puts you at the entry band; a hundred and twenty moves the whole order into a lower one, reducing what every single member pays.

What does a society set cost per member?

Take the set price for your band, add the decoration for each position, add freight, divide by the number of members. That is the true per-head figure and it is the only number worth circulating. A committee that advertises the garment price alone will be having an awkward conversation once freight and a back print appear.

A set here is a hooded top with its matching jogger, which is why the figure looks higher than a hoodie alone. Comparing it against how much do custom hoodies cost is the sanity check most committees want, since it shows what the second garment is adding. Set pricing sits on our wholesale tracksuits page.

How do committees usually collect the money?

Upfront, in full, before the order is placed. Deposits and instalments sound kinder and produce a chasing problem that lands on whoever holds the treasurer role. Set a payment deadline that closes before artwork approval and treat anybody who has not paid as not ordering.

Build a small buffer into the per-head figure to cover freight variation and the spare sets you should be ordering anyway. Ten per cent is enough and nobody notices it. Societies and student groups are covered on our schools and leavers page.

What if fewer than fifty people sign up?

The order cannot run below 50 sets for a design, so the options are to extend sign-ups, to open the order to another society or a sister group on the same design, or for the committee to underwrite the difference and sell the spare sets through the year. Plenty of societies do the third and it works, as long as the sizes are sensible ones.

What does not work is splitting a design to reach the number. Two colourways requiring separate screens count as two designs, each needing its own 50, so offering a choice of colours doubles the minimum rather than sharing it. One colourway, one design, one order.

Does adding names to the back cost extra?

Yes, because each one is individually applied. A nickname on the back of every top is sixty separate applications on a sixty-set order rather than a single repeated print, and it is priced accordingly. It is also the single most popular thing societies ask for, so budget it in from the start rather than adding it late.

Everything else is quoted per position on the garment, and the volume bands work exactly the same way as they do for any other order. The pricing page sets out the tiers, and the same structure drives the figure whether the order is 50 sets or 500. The full budgeting method is in budgeting a bulk tracksuit order.

Publish one figure and stick to it. Societies that quote a low headline price and then add personalisation, postage or a handling charge afterwards spend the rest of the year defending the difference in the group chat. Work the whole cost out first, round it up slightly, and advertise that single number as what a set costs a member. It also helps to show what the set contains in the same sentence, since a member comparing the figure against a high-street hoodie is comparing two garments with one. Saying "hooded top and matching jogger" alongside the price removes most of the objections before they are raised.

Common questions about wholesale — answered.

They can if the design is identical, since the 50-set minimum applies per design rather than per group. Different crests on the front make them two designs, and two minimums, even if everything else matches.

The reduction grows through the bands and reaches up to 35% against the 50-set price at the highest quantities. A society ordering well over a hundred sets should ask to see the figure at their number and at the next band up.

Yes, a few in the most common sizes. Late sign-ups are guaranteed, and without spares the only way to serve them is a fresh order at a fresh 50-set minimum, which no society wants to fund mid-year.

Invoicing is available in seven currencies, so confirm which one applies at the quote stage. Budgeting in one currency and being invoiced in another introduces an exchange rate into a figure you have already published to members.
