Las Vegas Trip Shirts: Group Shirts for a Vegas Weekend

By The Velocity Wear Team

Las Vegas shirts get about nineteen hundred US searches a month. Birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, fantasy football trips, family reunions and company convention teams all end up on the Strip, and a matching shirt is part of the fun. Vegas also has a few quirks worth planning for.

Design ideas

  • A retro Vegas sign-style graphic with your group name instead of the city.
  • Playing card or dice themes with each person's name as a card.
  • A tour shirt: Sin City Tour 2027 with the weekend's plans on the back.
  • Birthday themes: 30 and Rolling the Dice.
  • Convention team shirts with your company logo and booth number.

Avoid copying the famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign or casino logos exactly. Inspired-by designs are safer than direct copies of trademarks.

Keep it venue friendly

Many Vegas clubs, lounges and upscale restaurants have dress codes, and some won't admit groups in matching novelty shirts or offensive slogans. Plan to wear the shirts by day, at the pool and on the Strip, and change for nights out if your plans include strict venues.

Beat the heat

Vegas summers are brutally hot. Choose a lightweight cotton tee and lighter colors. Black shirts in 110-degree heat are a bold choice. For winter trips, a heavier tee or crewneck works better for cool desert evenings.

Minimum order

Our minimum is 20 per design. That suits big birthday groups, company convention teams and large parties. For a group of six, a no-minimum printer will be more practical.

Convention teams

Vegas hosts some of the biggest trade shows in the country. Booth staff in matching branded polos or tees are easier for visitors to find. Put your logo on the chest and a short line on the back, like Ask me about our new product. See our company shirts guide for staff apparel.

Sizing and money

Collect sizes and payment in one form before ordering. Share a size chart in inches. Order a couple of spares, because Vegas trips gain late additions.

Timeline

Production takes 10 to 15 working days after artwork approval, plus shipping. Order at least four weeks before the trip, and have shirts shipped home, not to the hotel, unless the hotel confirms it'll accept packages.

Birthday groups in Vegas

Milestone birthdays like 21st, 30th, 40th and 50th are classic Vegas trips. Put the birthday person's name and age front and center, and give them a different color or a crown graphic. A back print listing the weekend's plans makes a fun keepsake. Remember a different color counts as a separate design for minimums.

Pack smart

Have shirts packed by person so everyone brings their own. Tell the group which day to wear them, and schedule the group photo in daylight, before the pool and before anyone's tired. Vegas nights are fun but terrible for group photos.

Sports trips to Vegas

Groups visiting for big fights, basketball tournaments or football weekends can design shirts around the event without official league or team logos.

Vegas weddings

Wedding parties in Vegas often want matching shirts for the day after.

Proofs

Check names, dates and spelling on the proof before approving the order.
