A red club with a white crest reads well on red; a navy club looks sharper with a white or light crest than a navy one. What about individual names or squad numbers?
Each separate artwork counts as its own design, so a name or number on every bottle turns a squad order into dozens of designs, each with its own 50. For a squad, one shared design is the workable answer: crest, club name and season. If you want players to tell bottles apart, give each squad or age group its own finish, because bottle colours can be mixed freely within a design.
How should a club plan reorders?
Keep the approved artwork file and a note of the finishes from the first order, and reorder before the shelf is empty rather than after. A reorder is a fresh production run of 10 to 15 working days from approval, plus freight, so a gym selling ten a week should reorder with several weeks of stock still on the shelf.
