Bachelor Party Shirts: Ideas That Get Laughs, Not Trouble

Bachelor party shirts get about a thousand US searches a month. Vegas, Nashville, Austin, Scottsdale, a lake house, a golf trip. The goal is a shirt that makes the group photo, marks the groom, and doesn't get anyone refused entry to a restaurant.
Check the minimum first
Our minimum is 20 per design. Plenty of bachelor parties are smaller. If you're eight guys, a no-minimum printer is the better call. Big groups, combined events or groomsmen orders that cover the whole wedding weekend are where we fit.
Ideas that work
- A tour shirt: The Last Ride Tour with trip dates and stops on the back.
- A jersey-style back: nicknames for everyone and the groom's surname with the wedding date.
- A throwback photo of the groom from middle school. A classic.
- A golf-trip polo or tee with a mock tournament logo.
- A different color shirt for the groom so he's easy to spot.
Keep the humor in check
Restaurants, clubs, airlines and resorts can refuse service to groups wearing offensive clothing. Anything crude about the bride, anything sexual, or anything that targets a group of people is a bad idea. Jokes about the groom himself are fair game. And remember someone's mom will see the photos.
Nicknames on the back
Collect nicknames and sizes in one list. Keep names short so they read from a distance. And make sure everyone's OK with their nickname. There's always one guy who isn't.
Shirt choice for the destination
Vegas in July and Scottsdale any time are hot. A lighter tee, around 4.5 to 5 oz, is kinder. For a fall cabin trip, a heavier tee or a hoodie gets worn. Dark colors hide spilled drinks; bright colors are easier to find in a crowd.
Sizing
Guys groups tend to lean L, XL and 2XL. Ask instead of guessing, and share a size chart with chest measurements in inches.
Timeline
Allow at least four weeks: 10 to 15 working days of production after artwork approval, plus shipping. Peak season is spring and summer.
Make it last past the weekend
The shirts that get worn again are the ones with a clean front and the joke on the back. A small mock logo on the chest and the trip details on the back is a design a groomsman will happily wear to the gym a year later. A giant crude slogan stays in the suitcase.
Splitting the cost
Collect money before ordering, usually through a payment app. Most groups cover the groom's shirt. Add a couple of spares in common sizes, because someone always confirms late, and someone always spills something on night one.
Golf trip bachelor parties
Golf weekends are a popular bachelor party format, and a matching tee or polo with a mock tournament crest looks great on the first tee. Check the course dress code first. Many courses require collared shirts, in which case a custom polo is the right call and a printed tee can wait for the evening.
Activity-based designs
Fishing trips, brewery tours, golf weekends and baseball games suit themed shirts. A mock fishing tournament logo or brewery tour design ties the shirt to the day and makes a better souvenir.
