50-piece minimum · Mixed sizes · We never share your details

Split a club order off actual measurements, not off a standard curve. Sizes can be mixed freely inside the 50-set minimum, so there is no reason to buy a shape that does not match your squad. Most clubs find their distribution sits heavier at the large end than a general population split would suggest, and ordering to the textbook curve leaves the small sizes unworn.

How do you split 50 sets across a squad?

Measure or ask, then count. A senior football squad, a rugby side and a netball team have three visibly different distributions, and none of them look like a retail size curve. Collect chest measurements where you can, because a number is unambiguous and a letter is an opinion.

Then build the order from the count you actually have, adding two or three spares in whichever sizes appear most often. Sizes mix freely within the minimum, so a squad that needs eighteen larges and two smalls can have exactly that. Sets are quoted per set on our wholesale tracksuits page.

What if a player needs a different size top and jogger?

This is the question that catches every club out. A set is made and priced as a pair, so a large top with a medium jogger is not a standard line. The practical answer is to order to the larger of the two measurements and accept a slightly roomier jogger, or to order one extra set in the smaller size and pair the halves manually at handover.

Flag it at the order stage rather than after delivery. Once the sets are bagged as pairs, rearranging them is a job somebody has to do by hand. How grading works across a size range, and why the jump between sizes is not uniform, is explained in how garment sizing is graded.

A squad distribution rarely matches a retail size curve.

How do youth and senior sizes sit in one order?

They sit together comfortably, and including the juniors is often what moves a club into a better price band. Youth sizing is a separate grade rather than a scaled-down adult one, so put both charts in front of the people filling in the form and let parents measure rather than guess.

Where the two ranges overlap — a tall fourteen-year-old and a small adult — order the adult size if the garment is expected to last more than one season. Club and squad work is described on our sports clubs page.

Parents are the ones filling in a junior form, so make the instructions explicit: measure the chest over a t-shirt, measure the inside leg from crotch to ankle bone, and write the number rather than a letter. A junior squad that grows half a size during a season is normal, which is an argument for ordering at the top of a junior player's current range rather than exactly to the measurement taken in August. Where a club runs several age groups, collect each one separately and add the totals afterwards. A single combined form produces a list nobody can sort, and the coaches running each group are the people who actually know who is in it.

What stops a size run becoming dead stock?

Ordering to a real count instead of a guess, and keeping spares in the middle rather than at the extremes. An unclaimed medium finds a home within a season. An unclaimed 3XL does not, and neither does an XS in a senior squad.

Record what each player actually took, not what they requested. That list is the starting point for the next order and it removes an entire round of collection. The general method, including how to read a distribution you have never ordered before, is in how to split sizes on a first order.

Common questions about wholesale — answered.

Before artwork approval and cutting, yes. Once fabric has been cut to a size breakdown, changes mean a new run at the 50-set minimum, so the size list should close before the proof is signed off.

Enough to fit the squad without spreading the order thin. Offering every size from XS to 4XL on a 50-set order produces single pieces in several sizes, which makes swaps impossible and leaves odd sets unworn.

They are graded as a matched pair, so a large set means a large top and a large jogger. Individual body shapes vary, which is why a measurement chart for both halves is more useful than a letter alone.

Keep them as spares for new players and mid-season replacements rather than discounting them immediately. A set held back costs nothing to store and saves a full 50-set reorder when somebody joins.
